1940's Land girl inspired shoot

This shoot was a collaboration with a first year Fashion, Media and Promotion student who's project was to style a shoot with the period she was given. She got the 1940's and asked me to help with the hair and make-up. She wanted to create a look similar to that of the women seen on the war posters in the 40's, so that was our inspiration.

The hair is the models own, and was styled with heated rollers. The make-up was very simple. I airbrushed the base so it was flawless and then used the instructions we had learnt to create a simple 1940's make-up, like the ones they wore during the war.
